My cousin was kidnapped in Detroit, leaving school in 2003. Our news stations never covered her kidnapping, they were busy covering Elizabeth Smart's story over 10,000 miles away in Salt Lake City, Utah. I know firsthand the hurt and pain you endure not knowing where your loved one is and if they're okay. I pray Daniel is found safe and I pray you get the answers you deserve. May God bless you and keep Daniel.
To personally experience a missing person or child, one can only imagine having to search and fight alone. It’s an emptiness you will never want to experience. Where the media picks and chooses who is news worthy or not, must stop. Mandates and laws need changing on making all missing persons cases a criminal investigation until proven otherwise. As a mother who had to experience a missing person/child alone, I fought alone-searched alone. Making the stance it saved a life. Don’t wait until it happens to you. Missing persons is non discriminatory. Demand justice, transparency and accountability. Be the change America needs please!
