Another dad killed in a hit and run by an unregistered trail biker, a failure to effectively address this especially in an area for all the public to enjoy is a violation of justice and the trust we should have in our respective authorities to protect us and our children from harm in such shared spaces.
Ty supported: Stop Illegal Motorbike Riding in Tony Merrel Park
As a devout non-fundamentalist Christian who very strongly believes in the doctrine of forgiveness, lovingkindness and compassionate understanding, I have personally known countless people who were criminals but have completely turned their lives around to become among the most humble, gentle and easy to get along with people I have ever met. Nevertheless, there will also be hardened criminals who, tragically, will continue to commit heinous crimes if they were allowed to live freely in our society. After all, even the Holy Bible clearly teaches that there are some wrongs that really are unforgivable.
Steven supported: Reform Our Bail, Parole Laws and the Justice System for Repeat Offenders
Saving the lives of wombats and other species is a matter of great importance, and it's heartbreaking to see them being injured or killed by vehicles in National Park. The fact that the sealed road has encouraged dangerous driving is unacceptable, and it's crucial that we take action to prevent this. Effective traffic calming measures, such as speed humps and chicanes, can significantly reduce the risk of accidents and near-misses. These measures have been proven to reduce vehicle speeds and improve safety in residential and commercial areas .By installing these measures, we can create a safer environment for the wildlife. Increased compliance checks and police patrols, especially during peak holiday seasons, can also help deter reckless driving. It's essential that we support the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) in their efforts to protect the Australian wildlife and to ensure their safety . The work of John Creighton and Wombat Care Bundanoon is truly inspiring, and it's a testament to the dedication and compassion of individuals who care deeply about our native animals. By supporting this petition, we can make a real difference in the lives of wombats and other species that call National Park home. Let's join forces to demand action from the NSW Minister for the Environment and ensure that the National Park is a safe haven for wildlife. Together, we can create a better future for our amazing native animals.

All animals are important to the environment. The amount killed on Tasmania roads is horrific. We chose to live in their environment, they did not choose to live in ours. Speeds to be reduced between the hours of dawn and dusk, or at any time.
Laurene supported: Reduce Speed Limit on East Bagdad Road for Safety and Wildlife Protection
