As someone who lived in a small town where droughts already meant our water ran brown, this country cannot handle the environmental impacts of data centres. They are unnecessary and will only harm the day to day living of every person in this nation. It is a waste of resources and money and will worsen the problems already present in this nation. I am 20. I am already concerned for my future in this country and the idea of data centres chewing through our resources only worsens it.

Councils should stay the hell out of our lives, given how completely incompetent they are. So I guess all that’s left for them to do is keep their office chairs warm with their fat, lazy arses.
