For some teenagers to attack others, it affects the safety of many of us. Their behavior might influence more young people to follow suit, which makes life in Australia unsafe and frightening for us. We immigrated here for a better life and a safe, comfortable environment. We don’t want to live in worry and fear. Therefore, I hope the law will take this issue seriously.

While ordinary Iranians inside Iran are tortured, imprisoned, and killed for demanding basic freedoms, families connected to this regime live safely and freely abroad. They benefit from democratic systems and protections that their own relatives helped undermine through violence, repression, and hostage-taking.
I do not believe it is fair or acceptable for individuals connected to such crimes to enjoy opportunities and security in democratic countries while their families remain involved in the persecution of innocent people in Iran.
I fully support this petition and believe that those who benefit from these privileges should be held accountable and returned to Iran to face the consequences of the system they supported.
