It’s incredibly dangerous only have a yellow blinking arrow and having no way to see oncoming traffic. My brother was in an accident at this light a few years ago and mentioned how it was like the car came out of nowhere. Do the right thing, give a green arrow!
There is no reason there shouldn’t be a left hand turn signal. Coming from cane bay and making a left onto 176 heading East is very dangerous and it creates traffic in the turning lane. The city said there isn’t enough traffic to warrant a signal but clearly they don’t live in the area. Cane Bay was built before Nexton but coming out of Nexton their left turn signal works when you make a left onto 176 heading west.
I’m at this light multiple times each day and it’s very difficult to turn. Traffic backs up into Cane Bay and very few cars can turn on each blinking green cycle. It really needs to be a solid green arrow for turning to keep everyone safe!
This light is terrifying. If you are leaving cane bay to turn onto 176, you cannot see around those in the turn lane across the way. I have witnessed many close calls, road rage by people waiting because they cannot see and others passing from behind. The growth of this area is not sustainable with how poorly the traffic systems are set up.
