It has finally happened. I admit that I was very skeptical that it would happen this week. But we now have it! Traffic was horrible this morning on the first day of school but I think this light change will make a huge difference in mornings to come. Thank you to everyone who signed and shared the petition. And I have to thank Berkeley County and SCDOT even though I was very critical of them throughout this process. Johnny Cribb, Danny Thrower, Russ Cornette, Josh Johnson and Luke Weatherford took lots and lots of emails and calls from me - I’m sure they are glad to be free of me now!
