Trading Luka Dončić in the way they did just shows that this ownership and GM do not care about the fans. They have stolen my joy and my love for the game of basketball. I cannot support this team anymore following how this all went done. All greed, all about money, there is literally 0 justification from a basketball perspective to this trade. It’s collision at the highest level and the NBA allowed it to happen to make the Lakers have another generational type player. I’m disgusted.

This was stripped away when Nico Harrison decided to selfishly trade away Luka for his best bud. Not only did he rob our community of our best chance at a championship, because even from a pure basketball standpoint this move is stupid, but he also stole from all of us another decade of future memories and moments that we could share with our family and friends. I was at game six of the playoffs when Luka absolutely obliterated the Suns and extended the series when no one else in the world thought that was possible. The best part of the game wasn't on the court though. It was every fan in the stadium chanting Mavs in 7! Every Luka game winner I truly was amazed and felt blessed that we were given such a special player and that best part was that you could always see the excitment and passion Luka had for winning. He clearly also cared for the city of Dallas and North Texas. He was truly a Texan. This city will miss Luka but still root for his success. I will not allow Harrison and the Adlesons to taint all the past memories I had of this team but after this I will not be spending a dime for this team as they no longer deserve my support. Truly no championship is worth taking away what this city had in Luka. I'd rather have ten more years of a Luka Doncic team then ten more years of Dallas Mavericks Championships.

Who want to send their own kids there and I advocate for it. My nephew is supposed to be going to stripling next year and he is so excited to attend 6th grade there. It’s an amazing pyramid with excellent teachers and staff.

I currently help deliver Pack-a-Snacks provided by my church (Arlington Heights United Methodist). I also feel a connection to this school because my company built the activity building addition to the school in the mid ‘80’s.
This school has been a vital part of the community and must continue in it’s mission of providing quality education and support for children who depend on it.

It would be very difficult for North Hi Mount to be closed because we are part of a strong community there. I want the best for my brother and his future and I know Stripling and North Hi Mount are the best options for him.

Our boys are in the dual language program at NHM and are thriving. Every staff member in the building knows ALL of our kids. We also love the economic diversity of the building. We must support all children for a successful future!!!

We have spent the last decade walking our daughters to and from North Hi Mount. It has been a loving and safe place where we have all felt accepted and it has allowed our daughters to thrive. Stripling provided the same for our oldest who is now a freshman at AHHS.

You cannot justify the real and tangible impacts this school has made to the people it serves. And don’t even get me started on the level of parent engagement this school has. That alone should tell you how valuable and worth this elementary school is to the children who get to learn at North Hi Mount. Please reconsider any and all decisions to close this valuable institution.
