Reaching 370 verified signatures is an incredible milestone, but our work isn’t finished.
This petition was created after a bakery employee shared that arthritis affected her cake writing. During the January 30, 2026 radio broadcast, remarks were made about her handwriting and medical condition, and the segment was later redistributed across podcasts and social media, extending its reach far beyond the original broadcast.
Whether someone lives with arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, another disability, or another medical condition, every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Medical conditions should never become the basis for ridicule or public humiliation.
Our goal remains the same: to encourage a public apology, greater accountability, and stronger standards that help ensure private individuals who disclose a medical condition are treated with dignity and respect.
📢 Please continue sharing this petition.
