All the fields and adjacent Sandridgebury Lane flood annually. To this extent, the road has to close for days at a time. Building houses here is only going to make the flooding worse. I for one, would not want to spent a significant amount of money buying a house on a flood plain, and watching as my house floods 4-5 times as year. Whilst I appreciate, the local primary schools could cope with an influx of new pupils from these houses. St Albans just does not have the Secondary School capacity. Coupled with another huge development planned along St Albans Road in Sandridge and a mile away at Sandpit Lane. Secondary School places are difficult enough to secure as it is. Where are all the children supposed to go to school once they reach secondary age? I object to this development on Green Belt Land. St Albans is still adjusting to Oaklands Grange. We do not need more housing developments. We need our green spaces.

I live close to the area and regulary visit hertswood forest. The roads are far too busy for the city to cope with as it is and schools overburdened with pupils on "other" new estates in St albans. The city simply cannot take much more development. I've been here for 20+ years and seen a real decline in happiness of local residents over those years not solely but at least partially due to overdevelopment and it's effect on community.

Nairobi’s green spaces are reducing at an alarming rate. Trees are being cut down from public spaces and public parks are becoming more inaccessible and unavailable. For a city that is already characterized by green apartheid (lower income people and areas have less access to green spaces than higher income ones), decreasing accessibility by up charging public green spaces only widens this gap. This government and administration is clearly not pro-poor or pro-people. We’ve got to fight back and advocate for increased accessibility to green spaces for all people!

Nature should cost very little or nothing and money should never be a barrier to enjoying it. I used to walk in an arboretum when I lived in the city (Boston). It was a 5 minute walk from my house and helped me keep what sense of sanity that I had. There were people who paid to be members but it was not required. It was also owned by Harvard which has a lot of money which helps.

As a Norfolk local born and bred, I’m deeply concerned about what’s happening at Tamar Nurseries and the Fountain Group croonies - Anglia Construction Ltd OSCUDE LIMITED isn’t just about one planning application—it’s about protecting rurla and Fenland countryside, our flooding risks, and the honesty we expect in local decision-making. That 100-year-old willow was part of our landscape. Veteran trees like this can’t be replaced overnight, and the shady way it was chopped down (now a police matter!) shows why we need tougher enforcement. Flooding fears are real. Water storage dug in without water checks—right in Flood Zone 3—risks making flooding worse for all of us. The IDB and EA seem to be passing the buck, and that’s not good enough. No More "Wink & Nod" Planning Four years of false claims (“no trees,” “0m² buildings”) prove this developer can’t be trusted. If the Council won’t act, the Secretary of State must step in. We deserve better - A full call-in of this application Proper replanting of lost trees (20-to-1, not just a slap on the wrist) A public inquiry into how this was allowed to happen

They cut down a 100-year-old tree — to make room for access for an illegal development. This wasn’t pruning. It was destruction. They said no trees were there. They lied. They said no building had started. They lied. Now they want permission after the damage is done. This is planning fraud, and it’s happening in plain sight.
