I am signing this petition for myself & all of the other children who were bullied for being different. I am signing this because a derogatory term should never be allowed in a school (or a home) period. I am signing this because as a mother I would be horrified if my child used this word. I am signing this because the abuse & disrespect of little people has gone on for FAR TOO LONG with zero light being brought to it.

If these mascots are continued to be used, it will signal to others as well that the m-word isn’t harmful and is ok to use. This is unacceptable. My son and others with dwarfism deserve respect and safety like anyone else.
