I’m not only a parent of two kids in the district, I’m also a proud product of the district. The behavior of Judy Bullockus (and her entire yellow bus cohort) is unprofessional, dishonorable, and sets a precedent for future behavior that cannot be ignored. She has chosen to double down on her actions rather than act with humility and grace; yet another poor example for our community and children. If I were a Black parent, or the mother of a Black child, I would be horrified. Those of us who have the privilege and ability to speak out on this issue should do so, remembering that today it is a board member using the “n” word, but tomorrow it could be an anti-Semitic slur or discrimination against the children of same-sex parents. Our families, our children, and our community deserve someone in leadership who holds themselves to a higher moral standard. Judy pays lip service to these things, but her behavior speaks for itself.

I'm a teacher who works with sensitive populations. I can only imagine how the students in our district must feel when they see adults who are supposed to be "trusted leaders" behaving this way. It's time for her to go.

This program has opened many opportunities for me and has made me shine academically. I Care about this issue because I believe students that love this program and new comers, just like I once was, should be able to experience & have the opportunity that I had to be apart of the district and make my voice feel heard and respected.

Having an objective third party to help kids navigate challenges and conflicts they face day to day is a critical resource we can’t stand to lose.

You never know when you’re going need a counselor for a situation so this is absolutely unacceptable. It affects every child, even those with great social-emotional health already, as they are affected by what goes ok around them. Our kids can’t learn if they don’t have emotional awareness. Whether it’s an emotional moment happening in class or hopefully never a large school wide scary event, a counselor’s presence can be invaluable, these events can become memories that last forever and can lead to positive growth with the right people available

I moved to this area because of the certain schools. If my kid can't get a good education, bus service, etc.. why am I required to pay taxes for a system, I don't support or that's not good for my family situation? I'm considering private school.
Dannielle supported: Give students in CFISD bus service back!It’s safer for students to be transported by bus. Taking buses away has affected so many working families and a student who’s bus transportation was taken away got hit by a car about two months ago.
Marleny supported: Give students in CFISD bus service back!As many has stated before…buses are urgently needed since not all parents are allowed to go into work late or leave early to pick up their kids. There are major street intersections most of these kids have to cross to get to school. For example, I have seen with my own eyes many cars flying thru west rd and passing the red light, and scary that kids have to cross here. Also with these crazy rainy and cold weather since parents cannot always call into work saying they are running late. Please bring back the buses!
