I care deeply about this issue because I’m a woman who lives in America who is now afraid for her future. I’m afraid for the futures of my sisters, some of who are women of color who will be affected even more deeply with the new presidential cabinet. I’m scared for the future of this country. We as a country need to stand up against the corrupt system that they’re putting in place. One that my grandfather fought against in world war 2. One many women, POC, LGBTQ people have fought against. We’re not going back.

I personally didn't feel either candidate was suited for the position of President and that we were literally handed the only 2 we were allowed to vote for, choosing the lesser of 2 evils is not a way to vote, nor is it a democracy, there were countless other people who wanted to run, but due to the financial strains of running, and those who want favors only giving those millions to the candidates they knew would learn toward them, they all dropped out.
I'm disabled, I need the assistance offered in our Country in every aspect of life to live a very small, but safe life, and he is threatening those very things. I'm concerned about others in my situation, which are innumerable, seniors, disabled people, disabled Veterans, and low-income households of any size, as well as postal workers, and all other cuts he is making, including clean air, clean water and conservation of nature, parks and wildlife. Healthcare is disturbing as well, but what's most disturbing aside from him going against all he promised in his campaign about lower costs that have now risen since he took office, is his tearing apart out constitution and using his power as a personal vendetta for all and anything he cares about, not for the better good of our Country or our Planet and what the masses in society care about and need the most.
As someone disabled and close to being a senior and requiring assistance along with excellent healthcare, which is not happening thus far, I am also very worried about the children and younger generations to come. Education and a better world are paramount and with all else he's dismantling he's threatening those things as well.
Truth be told, no one should be afraid, legitimately afraid of the President of their Country, it feels like Natzi Germany, yet I am afraid of adding my name and comment, because he's a loose cannon and doesn't care who he harms, and he literally goes after anyone who opposes him. That is not a President, that is a Dictator.

A slow and gradual removal of a specified race by way of fear mongering and bigotry. We are a democracy and not a fascist regime, and we, as Americans, should be a shining example in the world that injustice is rectified BY justice, and that we hold our highest in the office to the upmost of the law, and prove we learned from the past mistakes of others.
