If you shut down the flagship, that $100 million NorthPark remodel is a tone-deaf vanity project. Neiman Marcus began in downtown Dallas. It built its legacy there. For over a century, it’s been more than a store—it’s been a symbol of the city’s ambition, taste, and soul. Take that away, and you’re not just turning your back on history—you’re telling Dallas it doesn’t matter. And if Dallas doesn’t matter, why should we care about your future?
This amazing store has been an institution and historic part of Dallas for longer than I’ve been alive. Every holiday and every season change has been made so much more special because of this store and its magnificent attention to detail, decor, and procurement of the most amazing inventory. It simply cannot be closed down!!!
This historic building & restaurant is an Icon of Downtown Dallas. It is a tradition in so many of our lives that we have shared with & began with our children, friends & family & business associates from all over the world. It has a piece of all of our hearts. Please help us save it! Pure Magic
My Central Hudson bills are outrageous! We purchased a heat pump a couple of years ago because our oil tank had given way, and we were concerned that the price of oil was getting very high We thought a heat pump would be better for the environment and save us money. We were wrong about the last part!
Not only did we not get our promised rebate from Central Hudson, but the price of our electricity skyrocketed! Because we were on a budget billing program, we were surprised with a $3000+ bill by the end of the year! And, as everyone knows, their delivery charges are higher than the cost for the electricity.
I am not a happy consumer.
April bill is $391.87, for which $40 is for Central Hudson to recover efficiencies we implement to SAVE ON ENERGY COSTS. So we take measures to save, and CH charges us back to ENSURE WE DO NOT SAVE. 71% - SEVENTY ONE PERCENT - of the total bill is delivery charges. Not usage, not supply, solely operational costs and a fee to take back any efficiencies I implemented in our home to save money. I have lived in other states and have never seen anything so abusive and excessive. I lost my job in January and will not continue to pay more than what I rightfully owe, and especially won’t pay back for efforts I made to lower my bill. These predatory practices must change.
I am teacher and my last 3 gas & electric bills have each been more than 40% of my monthly income, more than double what they were last year at this time. For the last 2 months the auto draft of my utility bill has left me with a negative balance in my checking account and caused other bill payments to bounce adding return fees for each one. This is even after going to food banks to feed my 2 kids & taking my car off the road because I couldn't afford to pay my insurance. This insanity needs to stop!
The delivery charges cause my CH bill to be more than double the supply costs. Charging delivery based on usage at a rate higher than supply per kWh is not logical or ethical. The maintenance required for the grid to my home doesn't fluctuate every month based on my monthly usage. Neither should that fee. Whether I use 1kWh or 2500kWh, nothing with the grid changes each month based on that usage. If I use 0kWh, then I am still charged a minimum of $20. This system of billing and the rates they are allowed to charge should be illegal and better monitored/regulated.

I have CH and Nexamp. CH usually "bills" me an enormous credit, which makes me believe I have been or am being overbilled most months. I have asked twice for refunds of the credit and have been told "the check is in the mail" - never received anything. This has been going on for years. I have every bill and have paid every cent requested by either the supplier or CH.
I am a single disabled mom of 3 on a fixed income and with these electric and gas bills going through the roof I am being left to decide wether to feed my kids or keep the lights and heat on this is an outrage! Majority of my bill is an outrageous delivery charge ! Central Hudson are thieves this is terrible ! We deserve better, people can’t survive this way!
