Change doesn’t happen when we don’t change the narrative. The POTUS has term limits and that’s the highest US office. We need term limits for the rest of congress to enact change. Stale old 40 year politicians who tend to vote for the same thing for 40 years are out of touch with America. We need better leadership. The pool needs to open wider, for more opportunities to be able to support real Americans. You cannot possibly believe that a 70 year old senator and an 83 year old House member understands the will of the people, especially those in their early voting years of 18-30. Enough with the lame ducks. No office should be held for more than 4 years without a new election and no person should be able to run again after two/four year terms for the same position. If POTUS ends at 8, congress ends at 8. Not only that, this was supposed to be a voluntary position, why are we paying them their salary even after they retire. Term limits would cut those benefits to congress as well.
