As the United States veteran and a child of two different races I am appalled at the president and his administration. My families history has created the tapestry that is America. We are a blended family like so many others in America and it is absolutely heartbreaking the abusive power solely so one race or group of people can succeed, that is not how it was raised and that is not the America I grew up in. I fully believe if Congress is going to stop the payment of other federal employees and they themselves should no longer receive a paycheck! The hypocrisy that is continuing to surround this Administration has got to stop now!

I used to work for the Army at an R& D center in NJ, from 1989-1999 during at least 2 Government shutdowns…it is such a waste of time and money as they usually pay back employees retroactively during the shutdown. The only Government employees that should NOT get paid are those that make the laws and control the budget…Members of Congress do your jobs!

As a federal employee who is required to still come to work as essential personnel, knowing Congress has stopped all payroll for federal employees to include essential personnel until an agreement is reached, really drives the point that Congress shouldn’t be paid either as federal employees or representatives until a funding bill is accepted Los

My father, Karl Hein, died bringing oil to Alaska. He also served during WW2 in Alaska. He would be very angry today to see how Alaskans are having the oil revenues being stolen by a greedy government. The PFD was set up for the people of Alaska. It is not for funding pet projects of politicians. Give the money back.
Star supported: Petition to Restore and Protect the Permanent Fund Dividend
Alaskans are fed up with being treated like an afterthought while our elected officials reward themselves with raises and mismanage the budget. The Permanent Fund Dividend was created to ensure that every Alaskan shares in the wealth of our natural resources—not to be siphoned off to cover political shortfalls. Meanwhile, schools are closing, community centers are shuttered, and families are struggling to afford heating fuel just to survive the winter. If budgeting a government is hard, try budgeting a household with no safety net. We demand accountability, transparency, and the restoration of the full PFD. It’s time our leaders remembered who they serve.

The dividend is used for winter preparation for Alaskans. Taking from the money we have made through tourism and living should not be handled by greedy people that won’t even put the funds towards anything else besides their pockets. Schools need funding police departments need funding construction companies that work for the state need to be able to fix the roads and bridges ect that we use daily it is absolutely devastating to see the decline in our economy when the elites live their best lives. There are children that depend on those funds for school clothes and fees there are parents that are depending on that to help them make ends meet because school just started everyone had to spend 1000$ -5,000 on school supplies. Some families have 10 kids some have 1 the issue is that it needs to go back to where it’s supposed to go or something else needs to happen with whose in charge

My home, along with everyone else’s on my street, does not have a way where trash cans could move from the back of the house to the front because of grass and fences. Meaning they will have to live on front porches and sidewalks, and probably just in the main street. This will create so many more issues for cars, people using the sidewalks, odors and basic sanitation. Why did the city not purchase the appropriate sized trucks? I’m sorry this happened, but they need find the money to purchase new trucks. This neighborhood area of Dallas was master planned around alleyways, our homes were literally built around them. It is the city’s job to maintain them, and to continue trash service in them like they have done for the past 65+ years.
Caroline supported: Reject Dallas Cancellation of Alleyway Trash Collection Proposal
Rent increases, gas prices (already high as they are), and groceries. I am on a fixed income, and now I am forced to go back to work to make ends meet. I am 72 years old, and I am supposed to be retired? In about a year or two, I plan on moving to Utah. It is way too expensive to live in California anymore!!!!
Richard supported: Repeal Governor Newsom's 65-cent Gas Price Hike on Californians
Am a 78 year old senior living alone. Just want to be able to stay in my home and not be taxed into homelessness
Karen supported: Recall Washington Governor Bob Ferguson For His $9 Billion Tax Hike
