Community Hub

Libraries are a vital resource in the community for all ages. From toddlers learning how to socialize with others, students researching things for homework, adults using computers to search for jobs, seniors connecting with others in groups that meet on a regular basis. As well as being a safe space for all ages it is also vital for people who use the online services from home. Please do not throw away this valuable community resource.

Libraries are invaluable resources to every generation. Apart from learning resources the libraries provide vital socialisation opportunities for new mums, babies, children, those with disabilities and the elderly to mention just a few. They along with churches are the very heart of our communities.

Used Saltcoats Library throughout youth. My mum still uses it, and now she lives closer to Saltcoats library she planned to go more often. They are a needed service for future generations.

Libraries are the life blood of our communities & essential for many to enable them to access essential local services.

Born in Saltcoats 72 years ago. Used Saltcoats Library throughout youth. Later used Ardrossan Library in later years for my family history. They are a needed service for these 2 towns for future generations. They must be saved.

The library is critical to a community and gives people somewhere to go that is safe and welcoming.
