The young woman that endured this comment and unwanted touch is my niece.On top of the embarrassment, women and officers were laughing. What if your child was subjected to this unwanted action, would you still laugh? I hope there is an investigation and severe consequences for these school board members.
I am a registered foster parent and have an adopted daughter. There are lots of children who need good homes and plenty of good parents willing to take them. That baby does not deserve to be put in the hands of a criminal.
This is inhumane and goes against human rights. As a women, the least I can do is advocate for the many other women who are facing such suffering. This is not okay, and awareness should be brought to this issue.
My mother was a midwife in Canada. I learned about FGM from her when she had a client who had to undergo surgery just to be able to give birth safely, let alone the original pain and mutilation she underwent and all the problems in between. I know it is hard for a culture to change, but this is one practice that absolutely must be eliminated.
I’ve purchased a lot from Frida mom, I’m completely heartbroken over this. I don’t think changing advertising tactics is enough. I will NOT support a business that is sexualizing our children.
I've always known that sexual innuendos on product packaging and ads are a common marketing tactic, but when it comes to products for CHILDREN AND BABIES it's absolutely disgusting. I can't believe that not only did someone think it was appropriate to include sex jokes on a product for babies and I especially can't believe it got approved. Pedophilia and child abuse is absolutely sickening and as a victim of both I feel that we need to be protecting our children, and even though it may be "just a joke", it's not at all funny and we are putting kids at risk of harm through making stuff like this acceptable. F*ck Frida and every single person responsible for approving of the packaging.
As a new mom who has had a 13 year career in marketing, this is absolutely disgusting to me. Yes, we can be cheeky with marketing campaigns, however they should never, ever sexualize items that surround our children. The Frida brand should be held accountable for these disturbing ads and their social media posts that use innuendos and remove them. Protect the innocence of children and the products that are associated with them.
