For students of Northeastern Clinton Central School, school should be a safe and nurturing environment—a place where they are encouraged to learn, grow, and express themselves without fear or bias. However, our current principal, Mr. Josh Harrica, has failed to uphold these fundamental values. His leadership style and behavior have raised several grave concerns, making it personal for us to advocate for his removal. Many students view Mr. Harrica as he has acted prematurely in disciplinary situations, failing to conduct thorough investigations before making decisions. These actions include ignoring or inadequately addressing issues such as the destruction of school property, vaping and smoking on school grounds, skipping classes, and students’ rights to free speech. Mr. Harrica has left students feeling misjudged and voiceless, and this is not the environment that fosters education or personal growth. Nearly all students at Northeastern Clinton Central can assert with certainty that Mr. Harrica is not fit for his role. Accusations that hint at unfair favoritism create an atmosphere of distrust and, further confirming that he is not suitable to lead our educational institution. His conduct, as perceived by the student body, contradicts the core values of respect, integrity, and justice that our school should stand for. The future of Northeastern Clinton Central School needs a leader who prioritizes fairness, thoroughness, and professionalism—an individual who can rebuild trust and respect within our school community. We are calling upon the school board and relevant authorities to take immediate action and remove Josh Harrica from his position. Our students deserve a principal who treats everyone fairly and ensures a safe, equitable learning environment. Please join us in making our voices heard by signing this petition.
