My son was molested as a 3 year old. Your cannot comprehend the damage these people do to the child and families. This is a mental illness/sexual deviance that is not likely corrected with therapy and these people are high risk for reoffending-especially someone with this nature of offense.

A cousin 's child was abused as an infant so I've seen how lives can be forever changed by abuse.

We need to stand for the victims, the ones we do and don’t know. Justice things shouldn’t be a hush hush in small towns. Dirt don’t belong under the rugs, where they have been sweep for to long

People who harm children whether they have a prior record or not should not get to walk away with a slap on the wrist and an opportunity to expunge said behavior. Going forward if there is no record of this incident he will be allowed in other positions of power to do the same thing all over again and that CAN NOT HAPPEN! This is just…wow. Absolutely disturbing that we’re sending a message that’s it’s not a big deal to all the other sickos in the world.

Our children look to the adults in their lives for protection and I will not be another adult that has failed these kids. I hope many more parents feel the same.

As someone who works with youth and children on a daily basis, their safety should be the top priority. Registered offenders are help accountable for their actions. As this violator has plead guilty there is no question that he should be help accountable and never be allowed to work with children again in the school system. For some, temptations cannot be overcome. The fact that he has already abused the privilege of working with children should be proof enough that this cannot be allowed again.

As a mom of one of the students who Dalton touched, this is absolutely disgusting. Once a person crosses the line of touching/violating innocent children they do not stop. Even if he never touches a child again, he will be continuously thinking about it. Our children deserve better. Our children deserve to be able to go to school without fear. Our children deserve to be surrounded by safe adults. This man has YEARS of documented inappropriate touching and has never been held accountable. It is time that justice is served for every child affected by him. Sentences like this is exactly why it is so hard for people to seek help when they have been sexually abused/assaulted.

As a victim of childhood SA, the children deserve better. These babies will have a life time of trauma and a life time of hard work. They deserve more! Stop protecting pedophiles!
Paige supported: Demand True Accountability for Joseph Dalton and Protection for Our Children
As a mom of two young girls, this sentencing is truly disgusting. I have no other words. We have to stand up for our beautiful children who deserve to feel safe at school. I’m truly appalled and disgusted by his actions and those who have decided to sweep this under the rug.
