You can't "just do business" with Nazis and pretend you're not complicit

The Marion Council just sold us out, approving a Tesla factory on contaminated land despite 95% of public submissions opposing it. That’s not consultation, that’s contempt and a giant middle finger to our community. Let’s be crystal clear: every councillor who voted “for” this mess has made their choice. We’ll remember it come election time. You don’t get to ignore the overwhelming voice of the community and keep your seat. You work for us, not for corporate lobbyists or ego-tripping billionaires.

I moved back to Adelaide in large part because of its plentiful green space. Once park are gone we will never get them back. This is a bad decision. This type of decision will affect my voting decisions in the future.

Point of difference. It's what sets one business apart from another, making it unique. Why does the market persist in trying to be a shopping mall, with the same policies? Prahran Market is a unique, stand alone entity, as are the stalls the customers come to shop at. But it seems management is hell bent on homogenising the stalls and the look. Dragon Sushi are unique in the market and should stay there.
Alison supported: Prahran Market kicking out a tradie after 11 years.
Authenticity and community mean more than shiny new fitouts

As someone who is in the same boat the qbcc has done nothing to protect me as a home owner against builders not completing contracted work outside of civil court. No accountability for the licensed person.
Tim supported: Be the change - QBCC Reform
3 years. Our fight with QBCC and some of their incompetent decision makers has taken 3 years, while we live in an unhealthy home. QBCC in its current form is a nightmare.
