This is furthering demonizing snakes. They are a VERY important part of our ecosystem. This would be banned if this was any other animal. Saying snakes are “bad” and killing them because of that is not right. If we compare it to anything else: “I think cats are bad we should kill them, and bonus celebrate it!” This is terrible.
That sweet dog died alone, suffering in the worst possible conditions—something no living being should ever endure.
It’s beyond comprehension how someone capable of such cruelty could be trusted with any kind of caregiving role, especially in a place like a hospital. I sincerely hope justice is served, and that this precious dog’s suffering was not in vain.
We need stronger protections for animals. We need accountability. And we need to speak up when we see abuse.
Rest in peace to that innocent pup. You deserved love, not pain. 🐾💔
As a medical professional and dog owner, I strongly advocate for UMC to consider uncoupling employment with her, due to her alleged cruelty to a defenseless animal. If proven, this goes to her character of being irresponsible and causing harm to defenseless animals, which likely translates to the same with defenseless patients in the hospital.
