Access to clean drinking water is a basic human right. A road means nothing when people are without water. 💔
Christina a soutenu : Protect the Artesian Well from Highway 421 ConstructionI've been without clean drinking water plenty of times, and the well supplies good drinking water for these people who don't have any. To destroy this well just for a road expansion is morally ambiguous in my opinion.

It isn’t that costly to put a curve in a road around something that cannot be moved, especially when it will enrich the lives of the citizens. We paid for the road with our tax dollars don’t we, then can’t we have any say?

More and more homeowners cant obtain insurance on their homes . We already have fire danger in our area. Adding this project is wrong in every level but who do property owners have recourse when they cant get insurance on their home? Imagine an emergency response to address fire with so few roads now all those mostly elderly people evacuating on the limited roadways. This project is too big, too close and there are millions of sparsely populated areas to put an industrial plant. I am an environmentalist and support solar projects just not here. It would be financially devastating for property owners to be unable to insure and thus unable to sell their biggest investment. The taxing bodies would lose too when property values plummet. The logical thing is to tell ARS to find a different location away from populated areas.
