Hello, I'm a YouTube creator and have been since 2016. Here is my channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOXsJedRCYUIV61C_-lfZoA . I am frustrated because YouTube has been doing everything in their power to waste our time and money as small creators while giving a pass to big channels until there is public outrage. 

YouTube has consistently penalized small channel creators by coming up with changes that are designed to discriminate against small channels when the culprit is the big channels that YouTube supports financially and otherwise. Small channels are constantly trying to meet YouTube's requirements and when they reach those requirements YouTube switches the rules thereby rendering our efforts worthless.. 

Youtube wastes small channel creators' time and uses them to prop big channels and T.V. channels. Youtube uses small channels to get people to come to YouTube then robs small YouTube of their hard work. 

• Youtube encouraged small channel creators to get subscribers. One small channels like mine got their subscribers, Youtube came up with an opt-in notifications knowing how much this would hurt small channels. 
• Youtube sends email notifications to creators then use that email to advertise big creators and their content.basically using small creator to advertise big channels.
• After all that hard work of getting subscribers, now YouTube has decided to, once again, switch by saying a creator needs 1000 subscribers AND 4000 hours of watch time in the last 12 months. The AND is designed to exclude small channels not the big channels, if the few subscribers you have are actually watching and enjoying your channels, that is not enough.. 
• Every rule and suspicion is designed to screw small channels. 
  My channel was doing very well until YouTube started screwing with subscribers, including removing people who have subscribed and not notifying existing subscribers. 
• Everything YouTube does is done in the dark and any "help" is not help at all other than canned answers that are bot generated. For example, one of my videos was doing exceptionally well and YouTube decided to stop it anyway by not showing it in search results. I asked repeatedly as to why they could not answer except that their algorithm is the one that makes decisions. All their answers were canned and had no real reason except that they were suspicious.
• Youtube disables or ban small creators knowing that they have no way to appeal. Our work goes down the drain if we are unable to appeal. When big fish like Paul Logan and PewdiePie get public flack for their deliberate publicity stunt, all the do is publicly apologize and they get to grow thereby profiting from their deliberate publicity stunts. 
• Many of our uploads get reduced revenue (yellow icon) with no way of us appealing them as they don't meet YouTube's 1000 views in the last 7 days threshold. This is another deliberate action to limit growth of small channels.
• YouTube's algorithm is broken and is written to screw small channels. Whenever I contact YouTube, the standard answer is that the algorithm makes those decision. Problem is that everything a computer can do is written by humans based on business rules created by YouTube, so this is a cop-out.

All these bait and switch tactics are designed to exclude small channels and to enslave small youtubers. Now, we have to scramble for subscribers that will not be notified once you get them. This is grossly unfair and a waste of time and our money. Please sign this petition to stop youtube from using us small creators while big channels are given a pass. We should be treated as individual creators rather luimped and treated as a bunch of misfits.
