Get YouTube to remove LGBTQ+ Videos from the "Restricted Mode"
A year ago on the 26th June 2016, YouTube released the video "#ProudToLove - Celebrating Marriage Equality and LGBT Pride Month" onto YouTube Spotlight. The video itself was published soon after Gay Marriage was legalised in America and it received a lot of support from around the world in following the countries footsteps hitting over 7M views to date.
However, recently YouTube has added a 'Restricted Mode' disabling YouTube viewers to discover videos covering LGBTQ+ related topics and is hiding them from the feed on their platform.

This petition has been created to show support to the LGBTQ+ community within the YouTube community to express the disagreement in YouTube choice to do this and the belief that anyone and everyone should have access LGBTQ+ across the platform without restrictions.
#PrideToLove... Stick to it YouTube.

The people have shared, signed, and viewed their opinions of the 'tool ' of "Restricted Mode" disabling users of the YouTube website/app to discover LGBTQ+ topic on your platform.
We feel that this is a major step back in the equality for men, women and gender fluid members of the YouTube community who feel that their voice is being "Restricted" due to this poor business decision.
We request you, refilter your "Restricted Mode" to hide subjects and topics relating to Hate Crime and Bullying. It amazes me personally (petition creator) and I'm sure many others that a company of your capacity is unable to make the right choice for the safety and welfare of its users.
