Hello THS Year 12's,

Recently our graduation has come out, stating it will be on December 3rd. As most of you know this is during the second week of schoolies. I know many of us have already booked and paid for our accommodation or are going interstate and therefore will not be able to attend. 

Additionally the graduation date has been set before the ATAR and study scores are out, meaning we would not know who the DUX's are. Last year graduation was all about the achievements of students both academically and those who have done well in other aspects of year 12. 

This petition has been created in the hopes of getting enough signatures in order to move the graduation date to the week after in order for all year 12 students to attend and acknowledge everyone's achievements. 

We understand that the venue has been booked however many of us have had accommodation booked for months. If you search up online it will tell you that the official schoolies dates are from the 22nd of November to the 7th of December. 

I hope you can understand that graduation is very important for us all and the best way for us all to get an enjoyable experience is to move the date.
