Please Vote to Repair and Renovate our existing clubhouse.
Here are the reasons why:
1. The plans to demolish the current clubhouse with a new larger one with a new sports facility building and parking structure
2. Present market conditions including rising costs, labor shortages and increasingly scarce or hard to find building and finishing materials will create large overruns
3.. Given the current rapidly rising inflation, the project will in all probability cost several million more
4. Years without the use of a working clubhouse
5. Years of an unsightly, messy, inconvenient construction site and ancillary delays and traffic problems
6.The existing clubhouse suits our present and future needs and needs minimal time and resources to have up and running
7. Savings due to not having a long term assessment pricing our the charged for all units well beyond what the real estate market will bear
8. The new Clubhouse project will be an overbuild - too much building for the lot upon which it sits
9. Conservatively 11 million for the new building project or spend approximately 1 million to repair our existing clubhouse?
10. It is an entirely unnecessary extravagance rather than an enhancement to our Club and expected lifestyle
11. The Sport facilities are likely used by only a handful of people in the complex
12. Units will necessarily be priced beyond the reach of many existing unit owners forcing them to leave perhaps without the prospect of a buyer due to those same assessments
