LAWRENCE LESSER SPEAKS OUT

Before I get to the issue of the Clubhouse may I simply say that Connie and I have had the privilege to be Unit Owners at YARCOBR since we were in our 40’s. Many of those privileges were derived as the result of our acceptance by more senior neighbors who were always there for us and became our dear friends. I can only hope those relationships develop within our current community.
Many of you know that I am opposed to the demolition of our Clubhouse for the following reasons:
1. At this point in our lives the prospect of being without our Clubhouse for an indefinite but significant period of time is unacceptable.
2. Given the various financial burdens the Club and the various Condo Associations are taking on the prospect of assuming an additional financial burden of approximately $13,000,000 is simply unacceptable. Even if we can individually afford those burdens it will adversely effect the value of our units.
3. Given the current state of our economy this is simply the wrong time to take on such a project.
To put it very simply the email we received from Danny Mancini solves our problem. If you don’t know anything about Danny or his company check on him. He is a superstar. Danny’s willingness to take on a leadership role with this project assures us that we will be thrilled with the results of the restoration of our Clubhouse.
Can we please vote for Restoration and then strongly encourage our a Club Reps. to form a Restoration Committee headed by Danny.
I will look forward to sharing the pleasures of our restored Clubhouse with you.
