Went to office to turn in my ballot. Here’s what I found out:
If you are the registered voter for your unit you can fill out the ballot and that’s your vote as long as it’s in by the 17th,
You cannot vote via zoom on the 17th .
Votes are not being counted til the 17th.
You will not receive any verification that your vote has been received except if you send your vote via email.
If you don’t fill out your ballot you can assign someone who will attend the meeting on the 17th in person as your proxy.
This is not a closed ballot which most would have preferred.
In my opinion.. very, very confusing And maybe not even legal. So many loopholes.. if you send it in you have no assurance that it was received. You have no guarantee that your vote will be counted.
