Wet markets are inhuman and against animal rights. The animals are caught from the wild and caged in small spaces with many other animals for hours or even days without food or water. They are then brutally butchered in front of customers so that they can have a hearty meal of warm meat and boast of their social status. This practice also facilitates the spread of diseases which can be deadlier than anything we know of so far. 
 We have a responsibility of coexisting with nature and wildlife and not destroying them for our selfish motives. This practice needs to stop! Each and everyone of us are obligated to protect these animals.
