This is an emergency request for the World Health Organisation to signal to governments around the world to activate their Airborne Disease Pandemic Plan.

The emergence of B.1.1.7 and other more highly transmissible strains means that on the eve of vaccine immunity, we are suffering terrible death rates globally.

This will give a clear signal to use airborne PPE when available, work outdoors or in well ventilated environments if possible, close schools in areas of sustained disease transmission, and when available, use negative pressure rooms when working with covid19.

Please action this request urgently.
