The future of the Poatina Golf and Community Club is at an important crossroads.
Fusion Australia, which has owned and supported the Poatina facilities for more than 30 years, is now selling its Poatina assets. We acknowledge and sincerely appreciate the support Fusion has provided to the Golf Club and the wider community during this time.

Fusion has stated that the sale process will be conducted carefully to preserve community cohesion and respect Poatina’s history, and that the next chapter should benefit residents and the broader community.

We believe the Poatina Golf Club should be an important part of that next chapter.

This petition is not a campaign against Fusion Australia. We recognise and value the contribution Fusion has made to Poatina over more than three decades. It is a campaign for Poatina, for its volunteers, for its community and for the future of the Golf Club.

We are asking the Tasmanian community to show their support and help demonstrate that the Poatina Golf Club, since its inception in 1969, remains a valuable community asset worth preserving.
