I live in a small town, that is growing larger each day. Why? The gas industry is bringing many people to our town, offering new jobs and profit. However, there is only one fast food restaurant in Montrose- McDonalds. 

McDonalds has been in our town for as long as I can remember, but its not necessarily a good thing...

If you ask anyone in my town "Do you like the McDonalds we have?" Every answer will be a no. 

More than half of the time you go, there will be something wrong with your order. Either getting salted fries (when you specifically order unsalted) or not getting all the parts to a burger you order...

I have started this petition because everyone around me, myself included, is fed up with the service Montrose McDonalds give us. 

Recently they had renovated, making them have now two drivethru lines. As soon as it became availible again they had problems. They could not keep up with their orders (and they still cant, especially in the busy afternoon) 

On top of that, their machines are constantly breaking down. Countless times when I order a smoothie or a McFlurry and the machines aren't working. 

The bad service is the worst part about it. Just yesterday I went to McDonalds because I was in a rush to go somewhere. What better way then to get something from a fast food restaurant? I waited at the window to get my food for 17 minutes! (Yes, I timed them.) All I was given was a 'I am sorry about this.' No refund (which is the least they could have done) This is not the first time this has happened either...  

Each time before I leave, I check if they included everything in my order. I did check and everything was included (As it should have been since it was a 17 minute wait!) 

Ready to be late, I opened my food. The unsalted fries I had asked for were salted. The Sausage, Egg, and Cheese McGriddle was (and this is no exaggeration!) Was a piece of sausage between two muffin buns (they had run out of what they use for McGrddles) My bagel, burnt to a crisp. 

The worst part? This is normal for our McDonalds. Why is it still in business? They are the only fast food restaurant around here and there is no where else close enough to go! 

This is why I (along with countless others I have asked) to make a petition for a Wendy's to come to our town. With a Wendy's around, we would not be forced to go to McDonalds. 

It is certain that if Wendy's came to our town, the McDonald's in our town would go out of business- something the town of Montrose wouldn't mind.
