I am writing on behalf of myself and my colleagues. We would like to give some feedback from our customers. We feel this is essential to the business.

During our day-to-day workday we have Muslim customers approach us for a place to pray. We are happy to open fitting rooms for them or direct them to pray in the stairway on the 3rd floor.

However it's not ideal. As music playing is a distraction whilst praying.

Some customers have said Selfridges have a pray room why Doesn't Harrods (considering it's owned by Qatari family!) we have no words to explain.

I understand this space won't generate any income. However, it enable our Middle Eastern and other practicing faith clientele the freedom to spend more time in store.

I believe it will in turn generate profits for the store. It's our duty to welcome, enable and engage our clients to make them feel valued and  understand their needs.

I joined Harrods back in 2017. I have been asking for regards to a multi faith room since I started. I have been told it's coming....

Knowing covid have disrupted all plans within the store. We feel as though this should be made a priority for our largest client base. This will help retain their custom and help retain their value in us.
