With the ever growing population in Telford, the increase in housing and building, we need our own A&E. Travelling to Shrewsbury along a congested and often blocked M54 and A5 is not adequate and will result in fatalities. Telford is a huge town which is growing weekly. We need services for the population of this town which are in decline. Why? Services need to be growing not decreasing! We need our own A&E and a fully functioning hospital and health care, not a down graded system that is inadequate for our population. Shrewsbury cannot cope and people cannot travel this far. The costs involved to get to Shrewsbury, for those who cannot drive, are ridiculous! Telford needs our own A&E and better service for our people.  SATH is not fit for purpose!
