we pay huge amount of tax during our working lifewhilst we plan and save for our retirement, only to get taxed again on our savings and pension. It is time for this to stop and to at least reward those who save and plan with no tax on our pensions, If this does not happen then, why bother to save at all?

We are not all wealthy pensioners. The majority of pensioners have their state pension and a small private pension that takes them over the threshold to claim pension credit. Most of these MPs and presenters are very well paid and seem to forget the majority of pensioners are struggling. Reinstate the Winter Fuel Payment for all pensioners. It is disgusting that MPs and economic migrants get free heating whilst pensioners get the cold shoulder. You are told to save for your old age and when you do the government punish you. I am not of state pension age yet because the government moved the goalposts. Why does the government appear to begrudge the pensioners a retirement.We have money for Net zero, wars, foreign aid but nothing for farmers and pensioners. This country is a disgrace.

I'm 72 and a widower. I have a small annuity that as from the last pension increase is now being taxed, after the next pension increase it will probably all go in tax! Unfortunately being an annuity I can't "cash it in" so the Government will benefit from me trying to safeguard my old age!

Autumn, Ken’s sister is a friend of mine who I care deeply for; has been advocating for change and protection of her niece and I hope now people see why that was and IS still so important. Ken was protecting his daughter and doing the right thing by getting far away from Gypsy; you will not spin this narrative to the public as you’ve always done to make people believe he wasn’t tormented by YOU and you only. I want to make a strong reminder that men CAN and are victims of DV all the time. Ken was strong against internet bullies and he didn’t care about social media. But unfortunately when the call is coming from inside the house, a person can only take so much. Hence why he did the right thing for his daughter’s future and walked away. The main person in this needs to take accountability! Kenans death is affecting and will be affecting his family, friends and most especially HIS daughter for the rest of their lives. My fiancée and my own children’s father was taken from earth in a similar manner and I’ve seen first hand what an extreme impact this will have on the children left behind. The detectives worked long and hard to find the real truth for my children’s father as there was more to it than met the eye. Now I can only pray La Fouche will investigate properly and dig until every stone is uncovered and not one is left unscathed because we are all expecting you to investigate properly and thoroughly and trust that you will. I will save my anger for elsewhere but to all of the victims in this scenario (Ken’s family, especially his mother and sister Autumn and sweet baby Aurora) I am praying for you all. I am standing in solidarity that when things don’t add up, we stand ten toes down until they do.

As an Australian, and part of the Commonwealth, I'm thoroughly disgusted with the completely vile behaviour of the Sussex's. They couldn't be further from the genuine Royal family (and what the Institution represents) if they tried.

These two have no compassion, duty or loyalty, to their families or to the Monarchy. Their attitude has always been, "how can we monetise this?" Meghan said it herself, while on tour in Australia in October 2018 (overheard by dozens of the public at the Sydney Opera House) .. "I can't believe I'm not getting paid for this".

Not only, but also Meghan told our Governor General (Sir Peter Cosgrove at that time) to F**k off, when he handed her the itinerary of their engagements while in Sydney. She used the full f word. Meghan had her BFF Jessica Mulroney on the trip to Australia with her, and they had planned their own sightseeing tour of Australia. That's why she was so pissed off, as she was wanted to use the Australian tour as a freebie holiday.

Meghan also told Lady Lynne Cosgrove to "F**k off", when Lady Cosgrove was escorting the couple to their own private wing within the Governor General's residence, Admiralty House, Sydney. Meghan expected that Harry and herself would have the entire mansion to themselves. Hence the Meghan's expletive, directed at Lady Cosgrove.

I'm retired now, but I worked in 'blue collar' (factory / manufacturing) jobs all my life. My former work colleagues (some disabled) were genuine people who did the right thing by others. Harry and Meghan have zero decorum, manners, appreciation, character, morals or self control.

The Sussex's don't deserve, nor do they appreciate, what they've been given. Yet they continually put their insatiable 'hands out' for more, more and more. When is it ever enough?

They are the most un-Royal couple of the British Royals for at least the past 400 years. The King needs to allow them to continue digging their own hole. When they've finally hit rock bottom, leave them to find their own way out. Only then, will they actually learn the essential lessons of life. Pandering to middle aged 'kidults' is counter productive to the Royal family, the Institution and the Commonwealth.

Cut them loose (sans all titles) and set them free. Sink or swim, that should be the Sussex's option. Beyond that, I'll predict another Andrew and Fergie scenario 20 years from now.

I'm a carer for my wife. The health service does not have the money to give her the support she needs so she sits at home crying while my life is destroyed. How much would Harry's protection cost? He chose to leave Royal duties so therefore shoukd be treated exactly the same as any other rich 'celebrity' and get his own security. How much money will be taken from the public purse (I.e our health service/social service etc) in order to allow the already privaledged to swim in an even larger pool ofluxury

This is an elegant solution to a profound systemic issue. Unfortunately, BBC content rewards mediocrity and offers too many sops. Numerous editors who failed, on grounds of merit to advance, get pay rises as unnecessary compensation. Favoured personalities get moved around big jobs regardless of suitability. Let’s not forget the Chief Content Officer role was created because Charlotte Moore was unsuccessful in her director general application. This is a role too big for any human. This is continued with the appointment of Matt Brittin, who may well offer brilliant new direction but seemingly has a real deficit in public service and broadcasting experience as BBC have highly paid role that did not previously exist in the deputy director general. These are ludicrously highly paid roles that in some cases should not exist and in others should not be operating at this expense to the public.

Matt Brittin really does need a better plan. Content is a mess. It’s getting bigger and bigger with more and more hot air. Every one of those people in top content jobs don’t stand up to scrutiny.

Lindsay Salt gets £325,000???? For what??? Her drama commissioning record is not good. How can such a salary be justified? Likewise commissioning editors underneath her are getting exorbitant amounts. I’m stunned.

One wonders how Fiona Campbell can go from News, to apparently running a youth channel and then into a newly created role overseeing factual entertainment and arts. I rather thought those in charge should be proven specialists. The quality of factual entertainment is not as sharp as it was. Maybe that will change?
