Canada is facing another attempt by greedy leaders in the USA to absorb our country. The following letter is a plea for our leaders to stand strong. Please add your name to support the position stated in the letter:

Dear PM Carney and Ministers Anand, Champagne and LeBlanc
On 30 June, 2025 it was announced on the news that your government decided yesterday to respond to the bully boy attack from the US President on the DST tax by capitulating.
 
We write to you to inform you that we are terribly disappointed you apparently decided to  cave in before this last minute decision by the US president. It is now time to make clear  to the USA and the rest of the world CANADA will NOT succumb to a BULLY BOY and is NOT becoming #51”?
 
We  suggest that in order to regain the confidence and respect of Canadians you should be prepared to take the following actions either during the negotiations or on the days immediately after the  July 21st end of the so called ’30 day negotiation period’.
 
1. Be prepared to both increase current tariffs on US products such as steel and aluminum and insert new ones effective the day after the 30 day negotiation period is over.

2. Cancel the F35 contract as well as other contracts with US companies and move quickly to develop Canadian owned defence industries and also develop contracts with other NATO countries for the joint production of large scale military items such as aircraft, tanks, gun control systems for both aircraft and ships and heavy artillery

3. Include the newest version of the OECD Pillar One DST tax in the negotiations with the USA and insist it must be included. Make it clear to the Americans  that Canada is a country where we expect every citizen and company to pay their fair share. Corporate friends of the American president are not to be exempt.
