The residents of Tower Hamlets are shocked by the recent announcement by Tower Hamlets Community Coalition (THCC).

Behind closed doors THCC have selected their own MP candidates without consulting the wider community or other independent candidates who are standing for election against the local MPs. This hidden process is to bypass the residents of Tower Hamlets and is unfair to everyone across the borough. 

THCC does not speak for the majority of hard working and law abiding citizens of Tower Hamlets. Residents are aware of allegations of corruption within the group which includes missing funds to target Mosques across the borough and illicit activities which have broken local trade laws.

So we demand a fair and transparent community-led process for the future of politics in our borough and for the people as a whole to decide our Pro-Palestine Unity MP candidate. We say THCC does not represent us!
