Helping Banks Behave Better    If you are annoyed about bankers over-paying themselves then by signing this petition you can put a stop to it.  Here's how:

Together we can stop top bankers paying themselves huge bonuses.  All you need to do is sign up to this petition, and by doing so promise that if your own bank pays any senior executive more than $1.5M in annual bonus payments (including share options and perks), you will close our account and move to a bank that behaves more responsibly.  Then email, call, chat, text, tweet or maybe even talk to your friends and get them to do the same.  That is all you need to do.  Job done.  This is how it works...

1.5 Million of us sign up (that's quite a lot, but not nearly as much as one banker can get in an annual bonus).  Other people start to worry that we might move our accounts if bankers over-pay themselves, and their bank might be in danger.  They can then either sign up to help ensure their bank behaves well, or keep worrying.  Probably best just to sign up!  Then banks will start to worry that there really are a lot of us who might withdraw our accounts.  They are faced with a choice - overpay their executives and gamble with their bank's future, or do the right thing.  If you and all your friends sign up you won't even have to move your account.
