48 hours after the recent local elections, 3 labour councillors quit the party and have not resigned from their Worthing Borough Council seats.

Democratically, they were elected to office under a banner and ethically, out of decency, should now resign immediately, so the electorate can decide on who and how they want their local interests represented in these affected wards:

Broadwater ward

Selden ward

Tarring ward

The borough deserves better, despite any weak reasons given, It is wholly is unacceptable to put petty internal party politics before the PEOPLE they serve.

If they are to retain any reasonable level of Integrity and not put self interest first, this is the only outcome that can be expected in the interest of the public.
