Watchout for DELIVEROO Scam

The Issue

Deliveroo appear to be involved in a new scam, new to me anyway, involving their delivery staff stealing items from grocery orders. Mysteriously, they have taken to withholding the printed receipt and instead attaching a slip of paper with just the order number hand-written on it. Why is this important? If the receipt is NOT with the order, it cannot be checked quickly for missing items. You may well ask why not print the order from the online a/c? Well, it takes time, money(toner+paper), and the receipt online often does not match the printed receipt-especially when items have been STOLEN! The offending grocery store in this case happens to be Sainsbury's. I have just been on the line to the relevant store in London at 75 Sloane Avenue, London SW3 3DH, tel. +44 (0)2075896669 and asked for an explanation. I asked if this NEW practice of theirs is part of a scam between the store staff and deliveroo staff to steal items-I just wonder how much money can be made from say 10,000 items/day stolen??? This is a reasonable figure(10,000 deliveries/day) in a large city  like London. I also asked CEO Will Shu if this was a method of boosting deliveroo profits? Doesn't he realise that this whole thing makes him look like a FILTHY CROOK?

I will now go about campaigning against Will and deliveroo. Delivero is listed on the London Stock Exchange(ROO). Their share price is down 60% apparently-gee, I wonder why.

This is a very important matter because millions of customers, not just deliveroo ones, are affected throughout the world. Companies/corporations must be made to understand that they cannot ride roughshod over customers and not face consequences.

Given the mayhem going on throughout the world at this time, we need to start confronting not only corrupt politicians but also corrupt entities such as corporations etc.
