After having lived in the UK for 2 years in the mid-nineties, we became addicted to PG Tips, and upon returning to America, had great difficulty finding them, or anything that compared. Thanks to Whole Foods, and several other online retailers, we managed to keep a steady supply, however, recently the pyramid bags began to disappear from our store shelves and when we stopped being able to buy them online, we learned the reason. The taste of the tea is nowhere near the same as it was, and I don't buy the "quick brew" excuse. I'm sure the pyramid bags probably cost a few cents more to produce, but I'd be willing to pay more to have them brought back.
Restore PG Tips to the way it has been traditionally. I don't buy PG Tips now.
If need be rerelease the original recipe as, "Traditional PG Tips." You can keep selling your new tea, and I can get the actual PG Tips tea.
Regarding steeping in one minute: the tea is still going to be far too hot to take even a sip. The time tea takes to properly steep is shorter than the time it takes for tea to cool down enough to drink. This feature is as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
