Petition against the proposed closure of Beechdale Library which is part of the lifelong learning centre on Stephenson Square, Beechdale Estate

Beechdale Library is situated in the heart of Beechdale and is used by all groups; they run a mother and toddlers group on a Wednesday as well as job clubs, computer clubs and any other groups that wish to use the library at any time. Over the last 12 months they have doubled their numbers who use the library.  If this well runs library shuts it will see a part of the heart ripped out of Beechdale.

Again we see Beechdale in the heart of cuts and funding losses one of the most needed and deprived ward in the borough and it appears that we are to be attacked with loss and closures again.
