On January 12, 2017, the Republican-controlled Senate rushed to repeal the Affordable Care Act on a strictly party-line vote, in a way that will prevent any Democratic filibuster against ACA repeal. The Trump Administration promises to push the Republican Congress to quickly unravel this health safety net.
     If 20 million people are to keep the precious health insurance created under your Administration, we need an admired leader who can best reach all classes of Americans, with the least perceived political baggage. Mr. Biden, you possess the life experience, empathy, language and voice uniquely suited to reach Americans’ hearts.
     Mr. Vice President, we urge you to hold mass rallies attended by Obamacare beneficiaries throughout the U.S., immediately following Trump’s inauguration, defending the ACA against Republicans’ plan to rapidly demolish this great advance in health justice.
