The photo above is of a display of vaping systems in one of our major supermarkets, it is not at the tobacco counter, it is in one of the medicines isles. This display includes single-use vaping products. Any child or young person can pick up, study and handle these products. Although the products are age restricted to 18, anyone under 17 could choose what they wanted and get someone over 18 to pay for them at the tobacco counter.

To sell tobacco products you must have a license, and all of the stock must be hidden from public view.

However, there is no license required to sell single-use vaping products, they do not have to be hidden from public view and in many stores they are displayed on the counter or in the isles of supermarkets for anyone to handle them.

This is why it is vital that as many people as possible signs this petition to protect our children from nicotine addiction.
