The US State Department should not be supporting Hosni Mubarak's regime in Egypt.

The US State Department is currently supporting the oppressive US backed regime of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt against a popular uprising to oust it.

While loyalty is of utmost importance in foreign affairs, it isn't always the moral thing to do. The Egyptian people are rising up against the 30-year Mubarak regime because of its oppressive policies and actions. It shouldn't sit well with any American to have a part in denying freedom to others in the name of diplomatic loyalty.

Therefore the US State Department must find a way to support the people of Egypt against oppression and in favor of liberty.
