On August 20, 1989, José and Mary Menendez, were shot in their home, by their 2 sons Erik and Lyle Menendez. About 7 years and  3 trials, their sons Lyle and Erik Menendez were found guilty without the possibility of parole. You may ask, Why would you wanna free 2 men who killed their parents? José Menendez was a emigrant who married beauty pageant queen, Mary Louise "Kitty" Anderson, and had 2 perfect young boy's within years. They had a very perfect home and life in Beverly Hills. Lyle was a star tennis player and attended Princeton, and Erik was a even better ranked tennis player for his age. They had no choice but to be great at the sport because of their hard-driving father who would work them to the bone in athletics. The boy's were sexually assaulted, mentally and physically abused by their parents throughout the years of their life's. Lyle was taught many things he didn't understand in his young years as a child. Lyle said that he would use to take his brother Erik in the wood, and do things to him because no one told him that it was wrong to do so. Their parents weren't there to tell them what was right and wrong in life, but to teach them the thing's that we're very tragic, and horrible in many other situations. These men didn't know better, but to take the easy was out instead of the harder way. These men infact did something horrible no other being would do but their parents took so many years of their life that cannot get back. Lyle and Erik Menendez have showed very positive attitudes and have been great role models in prison for the past 25 year. So I stand for these men and I believe they should be freed!
