We, the members of Fitness First Mosman, are calling for immediate action to address ongoing issues affecting the gym’s environment, equipment, and cleanliness. Despite being a premium fitness facility, the current conditions do not meet the standards we expect as paying members.

 

Our Concerns:

 

• Inadequate Air Conditioning

 

• The air conditioning is frequently ineffective, making workouts uncomfortably hot.

 

• Upstairs, the air conditioning is almost nonexistent, creating an unbearable training environment, especially in summer.

 

• Broken and Poorly Maintained Equipment

 

• More than 50% of the gym equipment is in need of repair, making workouts frustrating and limiting training options.

 

• Many machines remain out of order for extended periods without resolution.

 

• Lack of Cleanliness

 

• The gym floor, bathrooms, and change rooms are consistently dirty, creating an unhygienic space for members.

 

• Essential maintenance, such as refilling soap, providing clean showers, and maintaining general hygiene, is often neglected.

 

What We Are Asking For:

 

We urge Fitness First Mosman Management to:

 

• Fix the air conditioning so it operates consistently and effectively throughout the entire gym.

 

• Repair and maintain equipment to ensure at least 90% is fully operational.

 

• Improve cleaning standards to maintain a hygienic gym, including the floors, bathrooms, and change rooms.

 

As dedicated members who invest in our health and fitness, we deserve a facility that reflects the premium service Fitness First advertises. We hope management will take these concerns seriously and act immediately.
