We are graduates of the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) programme offered by the National Teachers' Institute (NTI) in 2020. Despite successfully completing our studies, we regret to inform you that as of 2024, we have yet to receive our certificates.

These certificates are not mere documents; they symbolize our dedication, hard work, and commitment to advancing education in Nigeria. The prolonged delay in their issuance has caused significant hardships. Many of us are unable to pursue job opportunities or career advancements due to the lack of proof of our qualifications.

The impact extends beyond our personal circumstances. Without our certificates, we are hindered from contributing effectively to the Nigerian educational sector, ultimately affecting the quality of education provided to students.

Considering Nigeria's high unemployment rate, particularly among university graduates, this delay further exacerbates the challenges faced by qualified educators seeking employment opportunities.

We urgently appeal to the NTI and relevant authorities to expedite the issuance of our PGDE certificates from the 2020 cohort with immediate effect. Recognizing our achievements promptly will empower us to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of education in Nigeria.
