We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to bring to your attention a matter of utmost importance concerning Esteghlal Tehran Club, a prominent football club in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

It has recently come to light that Esteghlal Tehran Club, without the knowledge of the International Affairs Department of the Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Iran, allegedly fabricated a letter purportedly on behalf of the Secretary-General of the Federation, Mr. Hedayat Mombeini, on December 7, 2023. This fabricated letter was then presented in correspondence with FIFA regarding the outstanding debts owed to former foreign players and coaches.

This action not only raises serious concerns about the integrity of Iran football federation but also constitutes a clear case of document forgery and deceptive practices towards the highest authority in football world, FIFA. Mr. Mombeini mentioned that Esteghlal Tehran Club used his signature and letterhead without his knowledge or consent.

As supporters of football in Iran, we appeal to FIFA to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate actions to ensure the integrity of competitions within its jurisdiction. Mr. Mombeini’s assertion raises questions about the club's conduct and its attempt to deceive FIFA through the use of forged documents.

We understand that the International Affairs Department of the Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Iran may be under non-sporting pressures, possibly of a political nature, to deny any wrongdoing. However, there is substantial evidence, including reports from reputable Iranian news agencies and various interviews, both visual and auditory, that support the existence of this fraudulent act.

In light of these circumstances, we kindly request FIFA's prompt intervention and investigation into this matter.
