Like many individuals who cherish the values of diplomacy, etiquette, and statesmanship, I personally feel distressed witnessing President Trump's actions. He has repeatedly shown himself to not act or behave like a statesman should. This is not expected from a representative of one of the world's most powerful nations. Instead of promoting unity and harmony, he has been seen to do quite the opposite.

A state visit to the UK is considered an honor, a recognition of the relationship between two nations. Presidents and other top officials are invited because they reflect certain values that the host nation respects. The unsuitability of President Trump's actions and statements, contradicts the UK's values of respect, unity, and peace.

By inviting President Trump, we risk compromising these principles that we hold so dear. Therefore, I urge the UK government to withdraw President Trump's invitation to visit the UK.
